Politically Correct Bedtime Stories
James Finn Garner is an american actor and writter. One of the most famous Finn Garner's book is this one, published in 1994. We found in this book the classical stories such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Snow White, The frog prince... but approaching them with humor, parody and satirical point of view. He adapts the classical stories to include politically correct words, moralizing reactions, modern concepts and objects, and to show exchanged rols. The author tries to transmit the tolerant and respectful values.
In my opinion, Politically Correct Bedtime Stories is perfect to work values in Secundary School because children is prepared to discuss and criticize the problems of the current society. In fact, the book got so succes that it have been translate into 20 languages.

I would like to be like...
It’s
difficult to me to choose only one teacher as the best teacher in my life
because I have had several ones.... However, I remember one harder than the
others ones.
In the
first place, she loved their job. I think that vocational teachers get to transmit
this passion to their students. For that, I hope enjoy my job every day of my
life and make happy my students.
In the second
place, she took care of her students but from de distance. I mean: they let
children be independent to make their choices and mistakes but they were there
as a reference. I think that it’s very important to respect the children’s
spaces to let them develop their personalities.
And, in the
last place, she trust students and students trust her. That doesn’t mean that they
were our friends; that means that they were that for all that we needed.
